Summer Science Saturdays

The Summer Science Saturday held on June 1, 2024 at the Mountain House Town Hall was a huge success. Over 40 talented Mountain House High School students had the amazing opportunity to engage with a panel of esteemed scientists who have dedicated their careers to the world of science.  It was truly a day filled with knowledge, exploration, and excitement for all involved. We'd like to thank guest speakers Lt. Col. Dave C. Brown, Dr. Patrick Poole, Professor Bethany Acquistapace, and Nalini C. Menon for their time and for sharing their experiences.

Thank you to Mountain House Board Vice President, Bernice Tingle, Dean of Delta South Campus, Dr. Pablo Ortega, Dr. Joanna Albala from the Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, Michelle Wade from Sandia Laboratory and members of the Youth Action Committee for organizing this educational event.

Together, we are fostering a love for science and empowering the next generation of innovators right here in our community! #YACScienceSaturday #MHScienceSaturday
