Special Event Permitting Process

Special Events ProcessThe City of Mountain House Parks and Recreation Department is delighted about assisting its community members plan successful and safe events within the City of Mountain House. Events build community and celebrate Mountain House's diversity and heritage. Depending on the nature of the event, applicants may need to obtain additional permits or approvals to ensure a well-planned, safe event.

The City recognizes the importance of providing safe, well-maintained, and aesthetically appealing facilities to all users. The Community Hosted Special Event Policy provided herein reflects this philosophy, as well as the City's desire to provide an outstanding quality of life through park amenities and facilities.

These policies do not pertain to the use of parks for the purposes of hosting events for less than 150 people or for on-going sports programs.
